Young Men 4 Christ (YM4C) music ministry was brought forth in the year of 2012, with the intent to touch the very heart of GOD by succumbing to the call and mandate on their life; to lead people to true place of worship and praise. The group consists of nine greatly anointed men of God born and raised in Detroit : Eric Johnson Sr., Lance McGee Jr., Min. Eric Johnson Jr. (2nd lead singer), Lance McGee III,(lead singer) Lance Wilson, Tony Stanford, Min. Deveon Gross, Anthony Curry, and Allen Stanford. Together they create a matchless heavenly sound that inevitably take their listeners to a place of heartfelt worship and praise to God Almighty.In December of 2012 Young Men 4 Christ displayed their heart of worship in their community by donating to a charitable event called SASYO (Sow a Seed Youth Organization). The group hosted their 1st Christmas Charity Event, which became an annual event that consist of local gospel nonparticipating donating toys and non-perishable food items for the less fortunate children in their community.Young Men 4 Christ has shared the stage with some of the greatest quartet groups such as “Doc McKenzie and the Hi-Lites, The Jackson Southerners, The Canton Spirituals, Paul Porter, Rance Allen and many many more. In January 2013 they released their demo CD named “Why Not Jesus” Part One,which consist of three grand hits. The CD was so popular that it landed on many of Detroit’s gospel radio stations, countless times; it is currently being played on national and international stations. On July 7th 2013 their entire CD project was released at their one year anniversary celebration in Detroit. The concert featured Lisa Knowles & the Brown Singers and a host of other well-known quartet groups. On February 8th 2018 a 2nd CD project was released entitled “FULFILLED” ‘Feel the Music from Within’;with that featuring 2x Stellar Award winner Lisa Knowles-Smith and Stellar Award Nominee Josh Myles.The Lord has also brought forth many award nominations and awards as well... To name a few the 2019& 2020 Male Group of the Year for the (Texas Gospel Music Excellence Awards), 2019 Artist of the Year Traditional and 2019 Record of the Year “Saved By Grace” for the (S&M Gospel Indie Awards). 2019 Quartet of the Year for the (South Florida Gospel Music Awards); Sunday, February 23rd they received a Spirit of Detroit Award at 2020 Jackie Wilson Foundation Fundraiser Event..Young Men 4 Christ stated that their goal is to use their music to minister to all with a youthful sound,while giving a traditional Gospel quartet feel. They intend on living out the legacy of past and present gospel quartet singers. They have linked up with Alternative Management and Marketing Group;enabling them to further their ministry and fulfilling their ambition to turn the world right side up by YM4C
Daryl G. Beebe
Born and raised in Detroit Michigan, Daryl Beebe is a phenomenal and innovative saxophonist, producer, songwriter, composer, preacher, teacher, motivational speaker, counselor and Central Office Administrator for Wayne Westland Community School District in Wayne, MI. Daryl received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Kentucky State University where he majored in criminal justice and minored in music. He was a member of the university jazz, concert, and marching bands. During his undergraduate studies, Beebe began to focus on songwriting, production, improvisation, and poetry. Later, he received his Master of Arts and Master of Education degrees from the University of Cincinnati. He has performed and recorded with artists such as Kurt Carr, Karen Clark, Teddy Harris, James Carter, Donnie McClurkin, Marvin Winans, Vicki Winans, Tim Bowman, Martha Reeves, Doc Powell and recently opened for Norman Brown.
This preacher and educator has many gifts and talents. In 2002, Beebe and his childhood friend, Harry Patton, released their debut album, “The Covenant Project,” by Partners in Christ. The group followed up with their 2010 CD entitled “Called.” In 2016, Beebe released his first solo project, “Sonny Side Up.” “Sonny Side Up” inspired listeners to look to the Son of Man and see the brighter side of life. Beebe was influenced greatly by his father Roy Beebe (Musician and composer), his mother Margie Beebe (who allowed him practice at all hours of the night as a teen) and his music teacher, Dr. Limuel Dokes, who not only taught music, but also helped build character, as well as musicianship. Beebe’s musical performances have been described as “electrifying,” “explosive,” "uplifting," and “awe-inspiring.” He is known for his rich melodious sound on tenor saxophone and his ability to wow audiences with screaming high notes on alto.
Eric Reverence is a Ghanaian born international Christian Worship Leader, award winning song writer, and passionate evangelist. He is the founder of “Spontaneous Worship” and the “Alliance of Gospel Music Professionals, UK”, which are both ministries seeking to equip and empower worship leaders.
Our mission is to offer youth in the Metropolitan Detroit area a world-class performing arts experience that develops their creative skills and talents through music education, dance, and theatrical arts.
The Detroit Youth Concert Choir & Performing Arts Company (DYC) is a non- profit 501 (c) 3 organization that services young people throughout the Detroit Metropolitan area. The Detroit Youth Choir teaches and develops students through music education, dance, and theatrical arts. Our program is designed for youth between the ages of 8-18.
The Detroit Youth Choir vision is to offer the youth of Metro Detroit a world class performing art experience that develops their creative skills and talents.
The Detroit Youth Choir has performed at various events around the City of Detroit, nationally, and internationally. We had the opportunity, to perform at the Michigan Outdoor Adventure Center’s ribbon cutting ceremony before Governor Rick Snyder and Mayor Mike Duggan. We also performed at the Rhythm & Blues Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony before many celebrities, dignitaries, and pioneers of the music industry.
The Detroit Youth Choir’s most recent major accomplishment(s) include: participating in a documentary IMAX film titled “America’s Musical Journey” which was be shown in all IMAX Theatres across the U.S and DYC recorded with the UK group The Go! Team and was featured on seven songs on The Go! Team’s album. The Detroit Youth Choir entered the national competition America’s Got Talent where the choir traveled to Cincinnati, OH in hopes of making it to the main stage in Los Angeles, CA. The organization has also performed for other local organizations such as; Spectrum Children Services, Detroit Pistons, U of M Basketball Club Ann Arbor, Scholars for Dollars, Focus Hope, Arise Detroit, A.I.M. Youth Conference, The D-drop New Year’s Eve Celebration, IMPACT TV, Light up Detroit organization, Youth Development Commission of Detroit and The Detroit Public Library.
Refuge Temple Pastor’s Choir is the manifesta on of the vision that God gave the Pastor and founder, Dr. Waverly B. Bumbrey, Sr.,over 20 years ago. In April of 2012 the Refuge Temple Pastor’s Choir won 1 st Place in the Detroit Choir Challenge. After 18 years of ministry, the vision came to past as Dr. Bumbrey and Refuge Temple Pastor’s Choir recorded their Debut Album “Seasons” during a Live recording on December 9, 2012 at Refuge Temple Cathedral of His Glory Church of God in Christ on Detroit’s east side.
The Album “Seasons”, ini ally released on April 28, 2013, was produced by Stephen Anderson-Day and produced by Dr. Waverly B. Bumbrey, Sr. The album features three original songs and four rearranged songs. The single “Acceptable” was released in the winter of 2013 and was wri en by choir member Joanna Jackson, after hearing the prayer of Evangelist Patricia Bumbrey during a leadership seminar.
In the fall of 2014 the Dr. Bumbrey retained Alterna ve Management and Marke ng Group, LLC’s LaVell R. Nero to manage the choir. As a result of new management, new branding and a name change occurred. The Choir is now known as the Refuge Temple Cathedral Voices and re-released “Seasons”, with new look and a name on September 23, 2014.
Immediately following the album’s re-release, Dr. Bumbrey and the Refuge Temple Cathedral Voices were nominated in 10 categories across two award programs; the 17 th Annual Texas Gospel Music Excellence Awards and the 2015 Rhythm of Gospel Awards.
On December 13, 2015, Dr. Bumbrey and the Refuge Temple Cathedral Voice recorded their Sophomore Project “A Believable Sound”, which was produced by Ryan Rutley and execu vely produced by Dr. Waverly B. Bumbrey, Sr. This project features 6 original songs and 3 rearranged songs. The single “Be er Days”, which is wri en by Ryan Rutley was released on December 11, 2016.
The Lord has blessed the choir to be featured in programs both foreign and domes c. Domes c event includes: Word Network Detroit, Michigan, Praise Fest in Detroit, Cobo River Praise Fest in Detroit, MI, Ribs and Soul fes val Detroit, Michigan, Inkster Praise Fest, Inkster, Michigan, Texas Gospel music Excellence Awards, Rhythm of Gospel Awards, Evangelism Epic at various McDonalds in Detroit, various Jurisdic onal events, and featured guest Gospel Gala in Washington D.C.. Foreign events include: singing the Candaian National Anthem and opening player introduc ons for the Windsor Express professional Basketball Team, and the Na onal Anthem for the University of Windsor Homecoming.
The Choir was won the following awards: 2015 Rhythm of Gospel: Choir of the Year. 17th Annual Texas Gospel music Excellence Awards: 18th, 19th, 21st, and 22nd Texas Gospel music Excellence Awards Church Choir of the year; 20th Texas Gospel music Excellence Awards Best CD / Project of the year and Male Solo of the Year; 2016 IGRA(Independent Gospel Are st Alliance) Tradi onal Choir of the year; 2017 Prayze People Choice Tradi onal Group of the year

Whitfield II is a Detroit-based minister of music. He founded Whitfield Productions in 2001 at a concert at Faith Tabernacle Church in Highland Park, Michigan.
Whitfield II's goal is to create an atmosphere where people can praise the Lord.
